BBL09 Supercoach Break Evens – Round 4

By
Updated: December 29, 2019

From this point forward I think we will call this round every year, Christmas Round.  Firstly an big Merry Christmas and Happy New Years to all of those that follow us and read our stuff.  We hope everybody has a wonderful time.

But now to the important stuff, the cricket!  In what was another interesting round of BBL we once again saw some huge Super Coach scores.  However we now come into a very difficult period to navigate so if you haven’t planned forward it could become a tough time for you.

Break Evens

What we have done is worked out – roughly – what the most relevant Break Evens may be going into this round.

Now for the disclaimer: these are not perfect as we do not know the exact formula.  However, we do believe we have it close enough to give us a good idea of what a players’ Break Even may be.  Do not use these as 100% correct, they are to be used as a guide to help you with trading.  Of course there are still other factors to consider, but this is one worth considering too.

Team and Ground Averages

So we now probably have enough data to start to discuss the best and worst teams and grounds to play on.

The team scoring the most points on average are The Sydney Sixers with an average score of 555.  The Strikers come in second with an average of 548.  The team scoring the least points is Perth with an average of 425 and the Renegades come in second with an average score of 441.

The easiest team to score on allowing 617 points per game is Perth followed by Brisbane giving up 545 points per game.  Whereas the hardest team to score against only giving up 420 points is Adelaide with the Stars second hardest with 439 point average.

As discussed last week, Adelaide have their second DGW in two weeks for their back to back run.  They are of course the only team with two games this round but be very careful on having too many Adelaide players as the have the bye next round.

After what as been a great first 3 rounds for us with the Sydney Sixers with players like Abbott, Dwarshuis, Philippe and Curran doing their jobs for us, it is now time to have to trade out as many as possible for this weeks bye.  But be very careful in who you bring in with Adelaide, Perth and the Stars all having bye rounds coming up, Perth with two.  Hopefully you have planned ahead for that as it is quite a tough time to navigate yet still get the best out of the teams on their DGW.

So that is it again for this round.  Any questions do not hesitate to hit us up on Twitter or Facebook.
