Real Dream Team NBA – Schedule Analysis – Week 10

Updated: December 23, 2019

It’s Christmas week, so we will keep this short to let you get all your last minute shopping, cooking (most importantly) RDT NBA preparation done. For details on the intricacies of Christmas Week, you can check out last week’s article.

Schedule Breakdown

8 Game Teams

Zero. We have zero 8 Game fortnights coming up. This is going to make roster maximisation even more important. You definitely want to have as many 7 game players as possible. You will need to move on any Brooklyn, Charlotte, Chicago and Clippers players you have this week. Then in Week 11, trade out Harden and any other Houston, New Orleans and Philadelphia players that you have.

Oh Captain, My Captain!

Last Week’s Selection – Giannis Antetokounmpo

Predicted Avg – 38

Actual Scores – 49, 41, 38

There are very few Captain options this week with the limited number of 4 game teams. The obvious selection will be James Harden, with the Rockets playing Sacramento, Golden State, Brooklyn and New Orleans. This is a pretty easy run, with the only thing that will stop Harden from massive scores being when he sits out the last quarter in a blowout.

In fact, Harden is such a clear cut Captain choice, you don’t even need any other options.
