BBL09 Supercoach Break Evens – Round 2

Updated: December 21, 2019

What a start to the year.  Some monster scores in round 1 had the par score around 1,300 and the top scorer of the round get 1,757.  Having the ability to have 11 DGW players helps that of course but as we will discuss shortly, things change up from here.

Break Evens

What we have done is worked out – roughly – what the most relevant Break Evens may be going into this round.

Now for the disclaimer: these are not perfect as we do not know the exact formula.  However, we do believe we have it close enough to give us a good idea of what a players’ Break Even may be.  Do not use these as 100% correct, they are to be used as a guide to help you with trading.  Of course there are still other factors to consider, but this is one worth considering too.

Team and Ground Averages

This year we are also going to keep track of team scoring, averages and even which grounds have the best scores.  Below are the numbers from round 1, however it will take 3-4 rounds to make any assumptions or calls on using this data to help us choose players to pick.  Keep posted though because as we get more data we will include that in some of the selection options each week.

The Most Relevant

There are no DGW teams for round 2, however Adelaide, Perth and the Sydney 6’s all have DGW rounds in round 3, with Adelaide having back to back DGW rounds.  Perth have a single, DGW, single, bye and Sydney 6’s have single, DGW, bye so be somewhat weary of loading up on too many sixers players.

With no teams on the bye this round it makes life nice and easy for us.  Only team to be somewhat aware of is that Brisbane are the only team with a bye in round 3.

So that is it again for this round.  Any questions do not hesitate to hit us up on Twitter or Facebook.
