Real Dream Team NBA – Schedule Analysis – Week 7

By
Updated: December 1, 2019

We are now around 20 games into the season and have some genuine data behind us to see which teams are Fantasy friendly, and which teams are not. When analysing the week ahead, and which players to bring in, the team Fantasy numbers are handy for two reason:

1 – Which teams are scoring the most Fantasy points

2 – Which teams are giving up the most Fantasy points

If you can see a team that is up the top for points scored, and has opponents who are giving up a lot of points, you need to take a long, hard look at bringing in players on that team.

Schedule Breakdown

8 Game Teams

It’s that time of the year where real life can get in the way of finding time to do detailed research. The data on the 8 game teams are below, but no analysis this week. Sorry, hopefully will find a bit more time next week.

Charlotte (Pho, GSW, Bkn, Atl)

Chicago (@Sac, Mem, GSW, @Mia)

Denver (LAL, @NYK, @Bos, @Bkn)

Indiana (@Mem, @OKC, @Det, @NYK)

Philadelphia (Uta, @Was, Cle, Tor)

Sacramento (Chi, @Por, @SAS, @Dal)

Oh Captain, My Captain!

Last Week’s Selection – Giannis Antetokounmpo

Predicted Avg – 43Fppg

Actual Scores – 54, 29, 39 (one game to come)

The captain choice this week isn’t as clear cut as it has been the past fortnight, with Giannis only having 3 games. It also makes it more difficult as three of the top 4 WOD teams (Cha, Chi, Ind) don’t have a genuine captain option. Any of the below players will serve you well, however this week I have gone for Luka as he is playing supremely well, and has 3 out of his 4 games at home.

Luka Doncic (Dal)

Nikola Jokic (Den)

Anthony Davis (LAL)

LeBron James (LAL)

Jimmy Butler (Mia)

Joel Embiid (Phi)

Damian Lillard (Por)

Bradley Beal (Was)

Keeler’s Captain Choice – Luka Doncic (Dal)

Predicted Average – 38Fppg
