Dream Team NBA Captain Options – Week 11

By
Updated: December 27, 2021

Further disarray welcomed fantasy coaches in Week 10, but heading into Week 11 we should have at least a full quota of games with no more cancellations on the horizon for now.  Most coaches will be looking to fill the void of players missing due to health and safety protocols, so there will be a lot of forced trades.  The silver lining is we can look to downgrade some players with so many stars missing and then use that extra cash to upgrade and bring in  Lebron, who I would be making the number 1 priority this week with many of the top premos not playing 4 games this week.  Other players available who will benefit this week with 4 games and star players missing include- Brunson, Bledsoe, Yurtseven, Terrance Mann and Derrick White.

There are plenty of cheapies if you’re in a position to fix up your bench, checkout your injury lists as there are plenty of players $3M and under with cash to be made.  Try and avoid those of whom on 10 day contracts

Captaincy Considerations

All going well with H&SP, these are the best picks for week 11

  • Rudy Gobert is a very safe choice, the Jazz are playing very well and unaffected by covid.  His numbers tend not to fluctuate much as his rebound and block numbers stay very consistent week in week out.

  • DeMar DeRozan is back after a layoff and should benefit even more with the likes of Ball and Caruso out for the immediate future.  Quietly averaging 26 fantasy points per game, I can see a week of 110+.

  • Lebron James is basically have to carry this Laker team much like his early Cavs days some 15 years ago.  Massive numbers this week, 150 wouldn’t be out of the questions this week

  • Nikola Jokic only plays 3 games this week, but with his current form, he still should get close to 120 and should be a hold the rest of the season barring injury.

  • Karl Anthony Towns hasn’t been quite as prolific this year as he has compared to last season, but with the current status of games, he is a worthy inclusion this week.

  • Jimmy Butler is also back from H&SP and will have plenty to do with the current outs on their roster.

Will’s Captain – LeBron James

After his massive week 10, we just can’t ignore this form
