Dream Team NBA Schedule Analysis – Week 6

Updated: November 22, 2021

We are now well and truly into the season, and this week was once again a tough one with many popular players missing due to injury (Doncic, Mobley) and suspension (Jokic). Let’s hope this week is different.

3 Week Schedule

Max Games (12)

0 – that is how many teams have a 12 game slate over the next 3 weeks. This means we have to shorten the outlook to the next fortnight, and see who plays 8 games. Even then, it’s pretty light on. Only the New Orleans Pelicans and Washington Wizards play 8 games in the next 2 weeks. Pelicans centre Jonas Valanciunas is the only standout, averaging nearly 30Fppg over the first 4 weeks. The elephant in the room (and no, that’s not a comment on his weight) is Zion Williamson. He has not played a game so far this season due to stress injuries in his foot. He has been cleared to take part in contact drills, but is still not doing 5-on-5 activities. I can’t see a return for him in the next 2 weeks, and when he does, he will almost certainly be on limited minutes. This should mean that Valanciunas is able to maintain his Fantasy output. Bradley Beal is another player to look at, as he has been underperforming this season, which is a good thing for his price. He has averaged just 20.7 Fppg over the first 4 weeks, and has scores of 25, 29 and 19 in 3 games in Week 5. He should be priced around $12m, so does provide some value.

Other players to look at are Montrezl Harrell, Spencer Dinwiddie (though be aware he is currently not playing in back to back games) and Brandon Ingram.
