Dream Team NBA Captain Options – Week 20

Updated: May 3, 2021

Apologies to all the readers, due to illness, this week’s article will be short and sweet with just my captains listed below.

Captaincy Considerations

Only the  Detroit Pistons have 5 games this week, but there are plenty of choices from teams playing 4 games

  • Steph Curry back to a 4 game slate, make or break this week for the Warriors to make the play-in tourney.

  • Russell Westbrook coming off another big week, Russ’ numbers show no sign of dropping off this season.

  • Nikola Jokic 150 seems to be the norm for The Joker.  Still, less than 50% of teams own him surprisingly.

  • Luka Doncic did play only 4 out of 5 games, but still delivered big.  The number one selected player

  • Domantas Sabonis is back from injury and had a massive triple-double, albeit against a woeful OKC outfit.  Look for him to deliver strong performance here on out.

  • Damian Lillard like many others, the Blazers are in the glut for the playoff race.  He turned back to some good form again this week.  Playoffs on the horizon usually means ‘Dame Time’.

  • Jonas Valanciunas is another to keep on the radar, back from injury and should be back to scoring tonnes

Other potential candidates include Julius Randle, LeBron James, Joel Embiid
