BBL Supercoach Break Evens – Round 11

Updated: January 29, 2019

What a strange round of cricket it has been. Not sure about every body else, but my Australia Day long weekend was ruined by the Aussies disposing of the Sri Lankan’s inside 2 and a half days. Plus not much BBL scheduled over the weekend left me having to talk to the wife and kids.

Break Evens

What we have done is worked out – roughly – what the most relevant Break Evens may be going into this round.

Now for the disclaimer: these are not perfect as we do not know the exact formula.  However, we do believe we have it close enough to give us a good idea of what a players’ Break Even may be.  Do not use these as 100% correct, they are to be used as a guide to help you with trading.  Of course there are still other factors to consider, but this is one worth considering too.

The Most Relevant

Round 11 gives us a huge round of Double Games to jump on. The Adelaide Strikers, Brisbane Heat and Hobart Hurricanes all have the double games. But the great part, they are all hugely Fantasy Relevant.

Darcy Short, Rashid Khan, Josh Lalor, James Faulkner, Riley Meredith, Matthew Wade and Ben Cutting are all the top players to target, if you don’t already have them. You also have options like Colin Ingram, Chris Lynn, Jofra Archer, Mujeeb Ur Rahman, Brendan Doggett, Alex Carey, George Bailey, Max Bryant and Brendan McCullum who are also worth while looks.

I also think that it is fair at this point to also thank Johan Botha for his career and everything that he has done in the BBL over the past 8 seasons.

The Bye Team

This round we only have the Melbourne Stars with the bye round. This may be a small blessing in disguise as Marcus Stoinis has also been called up into the test squad for the second test. Coming off a double game round, hopefully any of the players that you have are easy enough to move on.

So that is it again for this round.  Any questions do not hesitate to hit us up on Twitter or Facebook.

How do you come to these break evens?
You have Lalor as -24 coming into this round, meaning he is guaranteed to make money.
Then he scores 98 and loses 13.5k

It’s per game he plays, not round and he only got like 1 point in his first match

No it is per round, not game.
But even if you were right that dosent make sense, if he has a BE of -24 and scores 1 then he beats his break even by 25 points and price goes up, not down 13.5k

          Hi Brendan,

sorry, I have only just seen this. No, it is per game, not per round. So Lalor’s BE would have been recalculated after his 1, price would have been amended and then again after his second game. We don’t see what the changes are for that first game as we only get the final per round, but pricing and break evens are calculated on a per game basis.
