By
Updated: January 19, 2019

We have all heard the term, it has been a big week in footy. Well it is more than fair to say that it has been a big round in the BBL. We have seen the lights go out, first gamers come in and carve up and senior experienced bowlers get taken off for two balls above waist height. Plus some massive scoring, and some not so good scoring too.

Break Evens

What we have done is worked out – roughly – what the most relevant Break Evens may be going into this round.

Now for the disclaimer: these are not perfect as we do not know the exact formula.  However, we do believe we have it close enough to give us a good idea of what a players’ Break Even may be.  Do not use these as 100% correct, they are to be used as a guide to help you with trading.  Of course there are still other factors to consider, but this is one worth considering too.

The Most Relevant

Round 9 see’s the Melbourne Renegades with the Double Bye Round. Dan Christian and Kane Richardson are the two most obvious targets here, but players like Mohammad Nabi, Tom Cooper and Harry Gurney are also coming off a good few games and showing form.

The Bye Team

This round of course see’s the Perth Scorchers with the bye. By this point in the season you wouldn’t be running with a lot of Scorchers players, but if you are, this is the time to move on them. A lot more on the Scorchers next week for their Double Game Round as they do have 4 or 5 very big names to come back into that team.

The Internationals Impact

The great news here is that we get back most of the International call-ups for the round. be a little aware of players like Travis Head, Joe Burns and Marcus Renshaw who have been called up to the test squad to take on Sri Lanka starting on the 24th of January.

So that is it again for this round.  Any questions do not hesitate to hit us up on Twitter or Facebook.
