BBL Supercoach Break Evens – Round 7

Updated: January 11, 2019

Round 6 can only be known as the round of did you captain Ben Cutting (or Ben Bleeding he will now be known as thanks to a fellow OTLS compatriot’s terrible Dad joke) or did you not. That was the difference between having a terrible round vs having a great round. But that is also why we love this game: one decision can level up the competition in a heart beat.

Break Evens

What we have done is worked out – roughly – what the most relevant Break Evens may be going into this round.

Now for the disclaimer: these are not perfect as we do not know the exact formula.  However, we do believe we have it close enough to give us a good idea of what a players’ Break Even may be.  Do not use these as 100% correct, they are to be used as a guide to help you with trading.  Of course there are still other factors to consider, but this is one worth considering too.

The Most Relevant

We have the Adelaide Strikers with their double game round for round 7. This does give us a huge swag of options to bring in. However, we need to be extremely careful as they also have the bye in round 8. That being the case Travis Head, Colin Ingram, Rashid Khan, Ben Laughlin, Matt Short and Jake Weatherald are the best options to be looking at.

The Bye Team

It is quite simple this week, get rid of any Hobart Hurricanes players that you may have as they have the bye round. Jofra Archer, George Bailey, Johan Botha, Darcy Short, James Faulkner, Ben McDermott, Clive Rose and Matthew Wade may all be players you could have.

The Internationals Impact

It is that time of the season where we get a heap of international players leave for duty. This year it is going to have quite an impact on planning and teams. In the light pinkish color in the break evens spreadsheet are the Aussies that have been called up for international duties. In the light blue are the internationals going home. There are some big names there so be aware.

So that is it again for this round.  Any questions do not hesitate to hit us up on Twitter or Facebook.  Good luck over the next four rounds.
