RDT NBA Schedule Analysis – Week 13

Week 12 heralded the start of the Eliminator competition. After a data issue from the USA caused many coaches to think they were not in the competition, by midweek it had been rectified and match ups were visible. The first round of Eliminator should be pretty straight forward for most coaches, as you are matched up based on your ranking from Week 11. A lot of coaches will find themselves matched up against ‘ghost’ teams whose owners have already started planning for next season.

Eliminator gets harder very fast, as you soon find yourself matched up with coaches in the Top 500, and a single injury can you done and dusted. Good luck to all coaches in this fun side competition

Week 13 should provide a return to 1000+ scores for coaches. The last couple of weeks have been a struggle, with less games over Christmas, as well as injuries to popular RDT NBA players. Christmas week saw many coaches struggle after making LeBron James captain, only to see him get injured in the first game of the week.

We have also seen a lot of ‘illness’ games missed. Anthony Davis and Jimmy Butler (mysterious illness after reportedly having an argument with coach Brown) have already missed a game each, and with Flu season in full swing in the USA, expect a few more.

We also get a rare ‘Golden Week’ in Week 13 for the Denver Nuggets. That makes Nikola Jokic a must add, and you can also look at team mates Jamal Murray and Paul Millsap if you are a bit short on coin.
