Updated: February 22, 2017

Name: Cameron Rayner
Position: Midfielder/Forward
Height 185cm/Weight 84kg
Club: Western Jets/Vic Metro
Player Comparison: Christian Petracca

Cameron Rayner is a dynamic player who is able to play through the midfield and up forward. Rayner has great composure with ball in hand and makes the right decisions when using the football. He attacks the football hard and has proven to have strong hands at ground level. A silky smooth mover, with demonstrated contested ability making him a very dynamic midfielder.

Up forward he has great hands on the lead and is difficult to beat one on one. He consistently shows he can find space, and has a good first few steps to create separation between himself and his opponent. He attacks contests at speed but can also stop and compose himself in traffic which only adds to the “dynamic” tag, and also gives us the indication he can be used in a variety of roles around the ground in future. As he prepares to launch himself in 2017, the goal kicking midfielder is one to watch with heavy interest.

NOTE: Height and weight are based on 2016 measurements.
