NRL Fantasy: What is Pulse?
It’s been little more than 24 hours since Fanhub opened registrations for the 2016 NRL Fantasy season and already it’s looking like a better start for them than the previous two.
Most importantly, the 2016 interface promises stability AND a host of new features including something called “Pulse.”
So what exactly is Pulse? If you’re an NFL Fantasy player, you may be familiar with the general concept that Pulse represents – a community based feedback platform – very similar to NFL Fantasy’s “Fantasy Genius.”
Pulse allows players to pose numerous types of questions, seeking feedback from the larger community of players on tough decisions, line-ups and trades along with buying & selling and captaincy decisions.
Not sure if you should captain Cameron Smith versus the Roosters or Corey Parker versus the Titans? Ask the larger playing community via Pulse and receive real time feedback.
Those trade decisions, those questions about cash cows, have they maxed? All these can be put to the wider community via Pulse.
You can even post your entire team up for members of the community to rate via a simple slider mechanism.
Or if you’d rather keep your cards close to your chest, you can simply jump on and answer questions or rate the sides of your competitors!
Pulse will allow you to tap into the collective NRL wisdom of the entire player base, which last year included 120,000 players and it might just make those captaincy decisions that little bit easier!
