NRL Fantasy: 3 Reasons you MUST download the NRL Fantasy 2016 App!

NRL Fantasy released their app last year without too much fanfare and while it was functional, it had a few issues as most early iterations of apps have.

But the NRL Fantasy 2016 app should be an entirely different beast!

Having listened to plenty of feedback from NRL Fantasy players over the off season, the new app, which hit the app store this week, looks to set the standard as far as NRL Fantasy games go.

In previous years, regardless of which game you’ve played, you’ve had to put up with apps that were clunky and didn’t give you all the features of the online/PC version – not anymore.

Here are 3 reasons you MUST download the NRL Fantasy app in 2016:

1. It is a full feature NRL Fantasy app

What does that mean? Well it means you get just about everything that you enjoy in the game on your phone and with you where-ever you go.

It was a huge focal point for the app development team to ensure that regardless of which Fantasy game you played, be it Draft, Classic or Match Day, that you had full access to it via the mobile app.

You’ll also have access to Pulse (which you can read about here) via the app. That means you’ll be able to ask and answer all those captaincy dilemmas, trade dramas and starting line up conundrums all via your mobile phone.

2. It’s fully customisable

Unlike previous years where the app dashboard was set in stone and completely untweakable, the NRL Fantasy 2016 app will allow you to modify your dashboard to show the game info that’s most relevant to you. If you’re a draft player, keep your draft info front and centre. If you’re chasing the big bucks in the overall classic contest, then keep that game as the focus. Or if you’re just in it for the $500 Thursday Night Match Day game, set that as the focal point for your dashboard. It’s entirely up to you.

You’ll also be able to play all games from the app – that’s Draft, Classic (overall) and Matchday! This year’s app puts  the entire NRL Fantasy platform in your pocket.

3. INJURY NOTIFICATIONS

Yes, you read that right! The NRL 2016 Fantasy app will include push notification capability, designed to be used to alert you to last minute injuries via your mobile phone. No more having an incomplete line-up due to last minute injuries. You’ll be notified and able to make the changes before kick off!

With all the improvements to the app this year, it is likely to become the most powerful weapon in your fantasy arsenal and the players who don’t have it, will be at a huge disadvantage.
